Ina Rometsch und Martin Verg, beide Jahrgang 1971, schreiben gemeinsam Krimis für Kinder – obwohl sie an unterschiedlichen (zum Teil weit entfernten) Orten wohnen. Ihre Romane „Geheimsache Labskaus“ (9.060 km) und „Krabbentaucherkacke!“ (749 km) wurden vom NDR als Hörspiele adaptiert. „Biberfieber“ ist ihr drittes Buch. Die beiden leben zurzeit in Freiburg und Hamburg (637 km).
